So what happens next?

Starting a new chapter in health and wellness requires a careful and attentive approach. Our compounded metabolic health support protocol, Everyday+ Weight, has been thoughtfully designed to align with your body’s needs as you move towards sustainable health.

Here's what you can expect as you begin your journey with Everyday+ Weight:

Initiation Phase (Week 1-4)
Starting with Strength 1 Capsules:
Naltrexone 1.5mg + Acarbose 16mg + Orlistat 20mg compounded with the excipients Inositol + Acetyl l-carnitine capsules

Month 2+ maintenance schedule:

  • Week 1: Take one capsule daily
  • Week 2: Double the dose for a cumulative increase
  • Week 3 and 4: Triple the starting dose for optimal titration

Potential Biological Responses:

  • The initial dosages are set to ease your body into a protocol to support weight maintenance, with a focus on minimizing gastrointestinal disturbances and improving patient outcomes.
  • You may begin to notice reduced cravings and an initial adjustment in appetite due to the Low Dose Naltrexone.

Adjustment Phase (Week 5+)
Transitioning to Strength 2 Capsules:

Naltrexone 6mg + Acarbose 50mg + Orlistat 60mg compounded with the excipients Inositol + Acetyl l-carnitine capsules

  • Week 5 and beyond: Take one (Strength 2) capsule daily.

Potential Biological Responses:

  • As you reach the optimal dose, you may experience more significant appetite suppression, supporting sustained weight maintenance.
  • The combined effects of Inositol and L-Carnitine may start to further support your metabolism, potentially leading to improved metabolic health markers.

Remember, your experience is personalized and may vary as every individual's body responds differently to the medication. It's not unusual for responses to deviate from the common path. Stay patient and keep in communication with your healthcare provider.

Safety and Side Effects

Always keep in touch with your healthcare provider about any side effects you encounter. While most are mild and tend to resolve over time, your doctor is there to support you through every step of your journey.

If you encounter any side effects that are severe or concerning, or if you suspect an allergic reaction to the medication, seek medical assistance immediately.

Side effect profiles

1. What dose will I receive?

The first month of therapy will typically be a lower dose with a step-up titration protocol or as prescribed by your medical provider. The second month and every month thereafter is typically the final maintenance dose taken once daily.

2. Why do I need to titrate up my dose?

Some patients may experience GI side effects when initiating at higher doses of LDN (low dose Naltrexone), therefore a titration of 1.5mg at a time is an accepted standard to help build up to the final maintenance dose.

3. What happens if I miss a dose?

Take your next dose as soon as you remember and if it is within 12 hours of your next dose then skip the next dose.

4. What type of quality assurance measures do you use?

Our partner pharmacies only use products from FDA registered wholesalers and are USP, NF, or the highest of pharmaceutical grade available. All ingredients come with a certificate of analysis that is reviewed by a compounding pharmacist for purity and potency.

5. Is this medication gluten free, dairy free, soy free, sugar free, egg free, nut free, preservative free, and dye free?

Yes! All of our ingredients are gluten free, dairy free, soy free, sugar free, egg free, nut free, preservative free, and dye free.

6. Any GMO material or animal testing?

No! All of our ingredients do not contain any GMO material and have never undergone animal testing.

Special Considerations

Low Dose Naltrexone

You must stop taking low dose naltrexone at least 48 hours prior to any procedure that requires sedation. Ensure that your doctor knows that you are taking LDN prior to the procedure. It is recommended not to resume taking LDN until 48 hour after your last dose of medication that was

prescribed for the procedure. It is important to notify your doctor if you are taking any thyroid medication. LDN may impact your thyroid levels. Stop taking LDN and notify your prescriber if you have any signs or symptoms of hyperthyroidism such as excess sweating,  fast heart rate, hyperactivity, issues with sleeping, or restlessness.

Orlistat

Because orlistat may decrease the amount of some vitamins that your body absorbs from food, you will need to take a multivitamin supplement once a day. Take the vitamin supplement at least 2 hours before or after taking orlistat.

You may also take your multivitamin supplement at bedtime.

When using orlistat, your diet should contain no more than 30% of calories as fat. More fat in your diet will increase the side effects of this medicine. Your diet should be nutritionally balanced, and your daily intake of fat, carbohydrates, and protein should be distributed over three main meals.

Carefully follow your doctor's instructions for a reduced-calorie diet plan and regular exercise. Talk with your doctor before starting any exercise program.

Acarbose

Unlike sulfonylureas, this group of drugs does not cause hypoglycemia. However, combination therapy with sulfonylureas or insulin poses the risk of hypoglycemia; in that case, the patient should understand the need to keep glucose with them.
